Products • Our company's primary area of business is based in the production and commercialization of mussels, giant oysters and clams which are farmed in our own fisheries.
• After being extracted, both the mussels and giant oysters are transported from the sea to our facilities, where they undergo the depuration (purification) process in accordance with the sanitary and quality control necessary to obtain the highest quality product in terms of both taste and safety. Then, the shellfish are very carefully sorted and packaged using our high technology machinery.
The quality of our products and services, in combination with our team of highly qualified professionals, guarantee that our clients will be satisfied.
Our products
Clams are also one of our main products. They are imported from Italy and the depuration and handling is done in our facilities.
• Mussels and giant oysters are local products from our region (Delta de l’Ebre), and demand for them in European Union countries is growing significantly. In addition to those the products mentioned above, mussels, giant oysters and clams, we have a wide variety of molluscs and crustaceans that come mostly from local fisherman's associations in our area: Sant Carles de la Ràpita, Deltebre, Les Cases d’Alcanar, L’Ampolla, etc. These products are available both wholesale and retail.
Our Team
Our company has a large staff, both for specialized production, depuration and packaging as well as technical assistance and direct customer service.
The best advice we could give to anyone who wants to enjoy the great taste of fresh shellfish is to find the shellfish prepared with the least possible amount of additives, because that's the best way to fully enjoy its true flavour, and then cook it in any number of possible ways.
How to open an oyster
While holding on to the oyster, put your thumb about one centimetre from the point of the knife. Insert the blade of the knife into the upper third part of the oyster shell and cut the muscle. After cutting the muscle slide the knife backwards until the shell can be opened easily.
